It is hard to believe, but my wife and I are celebrating our Twenty-Fifth Wedding Anniversary… time flies! Although it has been a blissful experience filled with a plethora of blessings, we've had our share of trials. Throughout the years, we've also been honored and humbled when people say we are good role models.

I don't know if we are truly good "role models." However, we do live by the words found in Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." His heavenly grace has taught us how to deal with our inequities, and His heavenly power provides us with a stronghold during times of tribulation.

Secondly, we thrive in having open lines of communication, honesty, and respect for each other. For example, we serve as sounding boards for each other when issues come up at work; we don't keep secrets about our children or spending habits; and we cherish each others passions, like the time I spend in my art studio.

Last, but not least, we value the time that we spend with each other. Rather it is time spent with our friends and family, devotional time, or simply going antiquing at a local thrift store, we have fun! These are the special moments that we treasure and provide uplifting conversational themes during our low times.
Therefore, although I'm not sure we are good "role models," I can certainty say that the 25 years I've spent with my wife have been truly blissful… thank you Lord! I also want to thank all my followers, as well as everyone that takes the time to leave such thoughtful comments. May you be blessed with blissfulness!

Yes, those are sound principles for a good marriage. My husband and I were married in 1992, so we will celebrate our 25th next year and we live by more or less the same principles. Certainly Joshua 24:15!
Have a good week,
Lisca
Congrats on your wedding anniversary! It's definitely an accomplishment in these times. Hubby and I celebrated ours a couple of years ago.
I love the card - it truly is beautiful

Secondly, thank you for your interest in Creative Tuesdays! We'd love to have you join us every two weeks and having another guy for visiting would be great too. While your artwork is wonderful, this piece does NOT meet the requirements of the Creative Tuesdays theme so I'm wondering if you forgot to include your piece with a heart in it, etc? The guidelines page is a good resource (http://creativetuesdays.blogspot.com/p/guidelines-faqs.html) but also look at the post to see whatever the theme is (also in side bar). You need to mention it too. As such, to be fair to everyone else, I am afraid I have to take off your link up but please sing up again if/when you have a piece for Creative Tuesdays specifically (it can NOT be shared with other co-ops either). thank you! Nice to meet you and congrats again! I know Alex enjoys your blog very much.
Thanks for sharing. Oh and I don't know what number I am because I messes up but right now 68 goes to right post. LOL
Happy Week to you ~ ^_^
Your work is fantabulous.

much love...
Congratulations!
Love seeing your art!!! Wonderful charming gift!!!!
So glad you like my knitting. You should get somebody to teach you - it's not difficult and you are a multi-talented person and shouldn't find it a problem! As for the water feature you should certainly make one in the place of the pool slide. You can get kits to make them - with a pump and a pipe, from garden centres etc. It just needs an external electricity supply.
