Peace - Love - Joy
Hello! ¡Hola! It's about to get really busy for me, with Holy Week services, so please know that I may not be able to post anything next week.
This is a card I made for my Father-in-law, who's having a birthday this weekend. He's a major coffee lover, so I decided to play that up. I was inspired by Cards 4 Guys #384 Colour Challenge- Light Blue and Brown, First Cup Challenge #12 March, AAA Birthday Card Game #83 - Use Die Cuts, and Freshly Made Sketches #729 - by Amy. I used Sizzix Tim Holtz Tea Time Bigz die cut & a Tiny Attacher; coffee background paper; assorted cardstock prints and solids; and a vintage Dymo label maker.
This is a photograph of my wife's Bearded Iris. They are difficult to grow in SW Texas, but somehow she managed to do so. I am submitting it to Word Art Wednesday Weeks #744-745, as I made a meme out of my picture.
I'm not ready to share a summary of my Palm Sunday sermon, so I'll leave you with this picture of my dog Toto and my cat Gris, along with a Haiku I wrote inspired by these two innocent creatures:Sharing a moment,
Living in peace, love, and joy -My wish for the world!
I am submitting this picture to Art For Fun Friday 202.
Thanks for your visit! ¡Gracias por su visita! Shalom!

Lovrly art and Happy Easter soon!
ReplyDelete...Arnoldo, you have a beautiful post this week. The iris teaches us the importance of enjoying each and every day its flower lasts such a short time. Peace be with you!
ReplyDeleteWow, I just love your coffee cups collage! And that vintage Dymo label maker label was a real trip down memory lane!
ReplyDeleteThough my stomach can´t take coffee anymore, I love your card!
ReplyDeleteAnd as surprise my Hubby came home for no reason with a small bouquet of flowers, some with my first name.
Love all the artwork on your blog Arnoldo especially the ATC at the beginning. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah

That coffee card is just the best! But I think my favorite is the photo of your wonderful dog and cat! I'm sure this will be a very busy week for you -- and I know your grands are coming. Have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHi Arnoldo, great post and love the coffee card. The Iris is gorgeous, well done growing those. Hugs to Toto and Gris x
ReplyDeleteI do like your coffee cup collage and your wife's Bearded Iris is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGood wishes for the coming weekend.
All the best Jan
This is a beautiful post, Arnoldo. Your talent reaches the hearts of us all. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI would guess it would be quite busy for you.
ReplyDeleteMy, you have been busy and I can imagine how much busier you'll be with Easter right around the corner! I LOVE your charming ATC--congrats on your Top 3 win! And I'm glad you used FMS729 for your father-in-law's card. The stacking coffee cups are a wonderful interpretation of the sketch! Thanks, always, for joining us!
ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful to watch a dog and a cat playing together. That’s not exactly common. The neighbour’s tomcat, who likes to hang around here, recently hissed fiercely at my girlfriend’s dog, and he would have loved to pounce on him… which we firmly put a stop to.
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents used to have a small dog, and I tried to get my cat to get along with the dog. They managed to tolerate each other.
Wonderful artwork too. Greetings for a good week ahead,
by Heidrun
Bom dia Reverendo Arnold.
ReplyDeleteYou have some wonderful art again Arnoldo. I love those southwestern themed pieces you make. And wow, that bearded iris is amazing. It will be late May before I see any, but the shoots are coming up. :) And that a fun photo of your little family members too. Wishing you a wonderful Easter season and weekend ahead too.
ReplyDeleteJust perfect for a coffee lover. Love your mix of products, the dymo greeting fixed with staples is fabulous! Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
Saludos.
You made much beautiful art even with your busy season. Ramping up! Good for you! Happy birthday to father-in-law. Aloha
