Yes! I have now completed all the CPS 5th Anniversary celebration card challenges. It has been so much fun!
For Day 15, Kim Moreno and Flower Soft challenged their readers to design a card using sketch CPS #231. It is a straight forward layout, which I feel incorporates a perfect block for artwork and one for text. Living in South Texas, Spring comes early, so many of our trees are starting to bloom. (Although a cold front came in this morning that brought us sleet and hail. We had a white blanket all over this morning - only in Texas. LOL!) Anyway, the trees inspired me to draw a branch with a brown Bienfang watercolor brush and to use Flower Soft to simulate the foliage on a scrap piece of map print paper - I love the way it came out! I then cut out my blocks from a sheet of K&Company Handmade Lofty Nest pad, a sheet of dictionary print, and a sheet of metallic copper. I assembled all the blocks according to the sketch on a tan note card, and added a strip of text from a K&Company Handmade die-cut cardstock set. As a finishing touch, I tied some fibers from Adornaments to the spine of the card and added a few lustre lined Mainstay glass E beads to the ends.
I want to take a moment to thank Tami Mayberry and the CPS team for this wonderful opportunity to express myself creatively and be exposed to creative people world wide. I also want to thank the team and followers that made comments throughout this challenge. It was truly motivational - Godspeed!

I've enjoyed visiting your blog and hope that you have better weather today. Living in Hawaii, we don't do sleet and hail. ;o)
