| "Love is Immortal" Sympathy Card Colorful Options Blue & White Challenge |
For my first project, I have a card I made for my church's treasurer, who unexpectedly lost her husband recently. She's not just an employee, but also one of my parish family members and a dear family friend. My inspiration was the Colorful Options' Blue & White color scheme. For my design, I used the Spellbinder's Painted Blooms cutting dies by Vicky Papaioannou; the We R Memory Keepers Bow border punch; a Kraft tag; assorted solid and print papers and cardstock; Tim Holtz washi tape; a blue Prismacolor Brush Tip Marker; a Uniball Signo white pen; Holz-Natur colored pencils; and assorted adhesives. (BTW, I want to thank the Colorful Options DT members for selecting my tags as a Top 3 Non-Cards!)

| 6th Wedding Anniversary ATC Tag Along (And ATC's) Love and Romance |
For my second project, I have an ATC that I made for my daughter and Son-in-law's upcoming 6th wedding anniversary. I'll be matting it in a card for their anniversary. I'm so proud of the Godly household they have fostered for their family. For my design, I used the Sizzix Tim Holtz ATC & Corners Bigz Die & the Christmas Cutouts Thinlits set; the Feemkota Heart Balloon Flower Basket Die cut set; assorted colors and prints of cardstock; a Sakura GellyRoll Moonlight 10 pen; Holz-Natur colored pencils; distress stamp pads; and assorted adhesives.

For my next projects, I have another cartoon I made based on my oldest grandson Elby and an AI illustration I did of him. For the cartoon art, I used a Copic Fine Nib Inking Pen and Conté pastel pencils. This is the second in a series I'm working on, and it's in response to AJJ's challenge by Erika (AKA BioArtGal), "What's Up?" My response is, "I will bless The Lord," from Psalm 16:7. The AI was done on my Macbook Pro's Image Playground app. As usual, I'm also linking these portraits to Sarah's WOYWW and Nicole's FFO.

In closing, I want to leave you with our family's resolution for 2026. We know we're not perfect, by any means, and make mistakes like everyone else. But we strive to serve the Lord through our words and actions; love all our neighbors; and if we fall, we look to God to make our path straight.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you'll leave a comment. See you later. Nos vemos. Shalom!

ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late commenting. I'm very sorry about your friends husband. I know this lovely card makes her heart feel better. Just knowing you are there for her. Wow! Your daughter has been married 6 years already. I remember you talking high school not too long ago. Well I guess it's longer than I remember. LOL I am so impressed with the art of your grandson. The realism and colors are magnificent. I know you call it a cartoon but, Arnoldo, this is amazing. Thank you for sharing with FFO. Please stop by my blog tomorrow for a new link up for artists. Have a wonderful evening.

Hi Arnoldo sorry for being a bit late getting back to you, I've been away from home. I love your cartoons and the Sympothy card is perfect. I don't make enough ATCs and they are so useful on cards. I feel that 2025 went far too fast but look forward to another happy year for us all and lots of great crafting. Angela x
