G is for…
Have you ever had a week at work when you are so tired by the time you get home, that you can't find the energy to articulate your thoughts in a cohesive manner? I'm having one, with all the back-to-school tasks and duties that I have had going on during the day. Therefore, I am resorting to the wisdom I found in the words of others.

Zoe Saldaña
I believe in God - not in a Catholic God;
there is no Catholic God. There is God,
and I believe in Jesus Christ, his incarnation.
Jesus is my teacher and my pastor,
but God, the Father, Abba,
is the light and the Creator. This is my Being.
Pope Francis
I hope you found the wisdom in these words as inspirational as I did. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment. Blessings!

Beautiful creations.
ReplyDeletea wonderful entry again!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes i know that feeling, sometimes its so saddening! To feel to tired to even breath... can be depressing and challenging everything thats important to you.
Your prayer is wonderful, and i do to pray for more peae and quiet in my heart when its sad because of the purt that resides there and wich is very tiresom at some times.
Be and stay blessed!
Have a nice day

I know the feeling of being so exhausted and having a mind full of impressions and images that it feels chaotic all together... using a quote or songlyrics work for me too then. I love what you created! Happy woyww and a hug from windy Holland, Marit #33
ReplyDeleteI certainly found the texts uplifting Arnoldo,
ReplyDelete)I do hope you can take some time out to rest your
weary mind and body.
The drawing (sketch) of beautiful young lady is GORGEOUS!

Your journal page looks amazing Arnoldo. Wishing you a happy and less stressful week ahead. Barb#27
ReplyDeleteArnoldo, your tag is so gorgeous. I loved your photos and especially like the quote from Pope Francis. I am hoping for a less stressful time for you for the rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiring quotes - hope your workload eases up & lets you get back to your craft desk soon ! Ali #10
ReplyDeleteI totally understand that feeling and appreciate your method of refreshment!
ReplyDeleteThat Zoe Saldaña quote is great; I had never heard that before. That chapel photo is beautiful, and I love that tag, too. So, I think I have been inspired. Thank you Arnoldo! #53
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes! LOVE the fun tag, and the journal page!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it is hard the first few weeks of school getting back into the swing of things. Your artwork is lovely. I love the first scripture - very potent stuff. Have a great week.

Hope you find the rest you need....time always seem short once the school year begins and the days turn darker earlier..admiring all your creative ideas♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/go-go-go/
ReplyDeleteBack to school is more stressful (I think) for teachers than for the kids and/or their parents. It's so much work getting organized, but thankfully for me, I taught at a Christian school where everyone would pause for reflection and prayer every day. I do hope you have that opportunity to pause, reflect, and GLORY in Christ as you prepare for this new school year!

You are wise to know your limitations.
ReplyDeleteYes, the nature of God. Many of us struggle with that. I've noticed here in the US, more have decided there is no God, and one does understand - why would God allow X?

What a beautiful little chapel! Thanks ever so much for sharing with us at OBW!!
ReplyDeleteHi Arnoldo. I understand how you feel as you know I've been there too but when you see those eager little faces you know it's all worth while. Take care and happy woyww, Angela x 28
ReplyDeleteWonderful post Arnoldo! Love the quotes and your beautiful art work. Very inspiring! I work as a Job Coach for kids with special needs and I just went back to work too. Tired is an understatement! I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I just stop myself and take a deep breath. Have a wonderfully creative day!
ReplyDeleteYes, Busy times for teachers. My DIL is a teacher and has two little kiddies too. Don't overdo it, is all I can say.
ReplyDeleteI loved the quotes. Especially the Pope's quote. He's right of course: God is God.
Sorry for being late again this week. I tend to spread the commenting out a bit over the week. Don't want to be too anti social.
Have a good week,
Lisca#29
Oh yeah, I can relate! Some jobs really take a lot of energy - and you're not even slacking off - yo still have a great post! I chuckled with your comment that there is no Catholic God - touche!
ReplyDelete(sorry my keyboard doesn't have the accents on the vowels)
Hope you can take a break in the weekend!
Another beautiful posting! Breathe deep and go with the flow......hope this comment reaches you in a more relaxed state my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your goodie jar and your glamour girl! Great work considering how tired you were!

Beautiful pieces this week. Your mixed media woman is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour glamour girl looks beautiful. Hope you have a relaxing weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope this frenetic pace lifts for you soon and you feel more creative bliss. If you find some free moments down the road to create maybe create a few extras to hold back and post on those days you are overwhelmed! Even those renting out music instruments for the year find sept daunting... as do parents... you are not alone. Think of it as a new start...shed the energy vampires!

What a resonating post! I totally get what you mean about arriving home from work and too exhausted to do anything. I hope you ease into your school year in the next weeks ahead. Love your tag - the little jar of heart lollies - awesome. Your glamour girl looks highly fashionable in her clothes and posturing! Love her! And thanks for sharing this beautiful church with Our Beautiful World - and I bet those stained glass windows would be a sight to see with light through them!
ReplyDeleteLuckily I only work a few days a week but end up feeling exhausted. If you work full time you must be running on empty!
ReplyDeleteI actually felt more tired in the vacation when the kids were home so I'm relaxing a bit now. Wishing you a relaxing time to come and plenty of creative breathing space.
I love your glamour girl. Happy PPF
Arnoldo, life sounds a bit crazy for you right now - I hope you get a few minutes to yourself now and then, to calm down and relax.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspirational quotes - It's nice to be reminded what is important!
