A "Z" Post

Happy New Year!  In case you hadn't noticed, I have had ZERO posts since November 22, 2016, making me absent from blogland for 6 weeks.  This doesn't mean that my art production was ZILT, it's just that I've had a ZILLION other things going on.  First of all, I had the a couple of extracurricular commitments at school that consumed a great deal of my time.  In addition, the ZIZZLING Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations with family, friends and coworkers kept me extra busy as well.  Although I enjoyed all the ZEZTY foods, it was emotionally draining for an extrovert like myself to be around so many people on a continuous basis.  To make matters worst, I ended up with a cold which led to a sinus infection that left me feeling like a ZOMBIE.  Anyway, below are a few of the artsy things I worked on during the last 6 weeks.  Hope you have a ZINGY new year!

  6. Hi Arnoldo, pleased to see you back. I guessed you would be busy. The term up to Christmas just seemed exhausting but you just get on with it. I nearly always found that if I was going to get a cold it inevitably came at the end of that term but you can't escape it in the school environment. I have to say that since I retired I haven't had a single cold (touch wood!). Hope you Christmas was full of family love and that the New Year will be a good one for you all. Happy woyww, Angela x 18

Thank you for the kind wishes, wishing you the most beautiful year ever and that it will be the first of many more to come and ofcourse in all the best of health, love and happiness covered by blessings all over.

    Lovely creations you've made.

But... just a little question? Please take 'better' care of yourself!! All those commitments can give much joy but one should not overdo himself ;-)

  9. Happy New Year, Arnoldo. Good to see you here. Life does tend to get a little (or a lot!) manic in the classroom around Christmas. A cold seems like an inevitability when we stop after a busy schedule.
Hope this is a very special year for you and your family.
    Take care. God bless.

  28. There's a story in the local paper about several people who've had cold for an extended period, or repeatedly. I'm not in the paper, but I am in the latter category, sick right after Halloween, then just before Christmas

    Feel better!

I would like to share this passage from the Bible coming from Hebrews 6:11-12 which says, "We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised." Have a blessed week.
