V is for Values

Season's Greetings!  Advent is a season of expectancy and preparation for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is observed by many Christians prior to Christmas.  As a celebrant of the latter, I vow to keep in mind the very virtuous values addressed in Galatians 5:22-23.

  20. Beautiful cards. I particularly like the first and third ones. And it's good to read something out of the Bible today; haven't read anything from the Holy Book in forever. Thanks for including the verse in your post.

  21. Hello Arnoldo, your blogpost is so full of goodness and honest art. I love the little snowmen place cards on their wine-corks and your lovely snowman on the card rejoicing - I hope it stays cold enough for him to enjoy it a while.
Also love your shepherd with all the techniques you used to make him - the grass, the sky, the writing and the dear little sheep.
There's no place like home, yes, and your home looks to be a lovely warm place.
    Happy PPF and Happy PPWeekend.

  25. I love all the pieces you've shared in this post, Arnoldo. I really don't know if people realize when they visit your blog that your art is not made up of stamped and digital images, but rather, creations of your own hands. It always amazes me what you can do with your hands. You are truly blessed of God with the amazing talent He has given you, and I'm SO grateful for very piece of art you share with us.
    God bless you always!

  26. What a great post, Arnoldo! Yes, faithfulness, gentleness and self control in everyone would change the world. Even if it were not everyone, but a large percentage, there would be such an improvement. I hope you and your family will enjoy the blessings of the holy season.

  30. It's been so long since I have participated - but it's always so nice to come to your blog - I felt like I was visiting your home. I loved all your work - especially the mixed media Jesus and the lamb. I have been re-reading Deitrich Bonhoeffer's writings on Advent - mostly from his time in a German prison. His writings are really speaking to my heart and helping me to "celebrate" the time of waiting.
