Taxing Three Weeks

I've had a taxing three weeks filled with end-of-school year work, postgraduate course work, out of town trips, and on-going house chores, hence my absence from blogland.  However, I've been blessed with memorable moments along my journey as well.  As usual, my art is reflective of the joy of these blessed moments.

Arnold-Steinhoff Wedding
Die, Punch, and Calligraphic Monogram
Julia's What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #312
First of all, my family and I were blessed to be able to participate in the celebration my close cousin's son's wedding during a trip to Houston, Texas.

Texas A&M Graduate's Card
Dies, Prints & Calligraphy
Karen's Word Art Wednesday #185
Then, my wife and I were blessed to see my eldest daughter receive her bachelors in Architecture during last week's graduation ceremonies at Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas.

Popcorn, Coke & a Movie
Scissors, Origami, Punches, Die, Stamp & Lettering
Freshly Made Sketches - #187
Moo-Mania - Bottles
Next, I was blessed to be able to get ready to celebrate the birthday of one of my closest work colleagues, who loves to go to the movies.

Tranquil Sky
iPhone 4s Shot
Bella's 52 Photo Projects - Week 4 {Explore the Street You Live On}
Denise, Roger & Leslie's ABC Wednesday - T is for Tranquil
Along the way, I was also blessed to witness a glorious and tranquil sky after some heavy afternoon showers.

St. Francis of Assisi
Mixed Media Collage (Quote Added Digitally)
Ramona's Inspire Me Monday #177
Maria's Orange You Glad It's Friday
Kristin & Eva's Paint Party Friday
Therefore, although I'm exhausted, I've been blessed with the feeling of peace that I can only find in Him, my creator, savior and redeemer.  May your days be filled with peace too.  Thank you for your kind visit and thoughtful comments.

Wedding, graduation, birthday celebrations! Wow! Heckuva three weeks.
Congratulations to you and your daughter! Evidently, she has inherited some of your [dominant] genes for art/creativity!
Seeing how the weather in Houston has been a calamity, you were blessed to have been able to avoid it.
Cheers, Stan

That is quite a week. Congratulations to your daughter and hope the coming week is a little quieter for you. More than anything I hope you are dry. I was thinking of you the other day as I read the paper and they discussed the floods in Texas. hope yourself and your family aren't caught up in it all...xx

All of your featured creation here are gorgeous. You did such an awesome job! Thanks a lot of blessing us with your entry this week at Word Art Wednesday. Make sure to stop by and join us again in another Challenges starting tomorrow. Leaving you with God's Word in Colossians 3:23-24 which says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Have a blessed day!
