C is for Climatic

I believe I had a climatic point in my creative endeavors for this summer.  Since I had a week off my school work and had no specific plans, I was able to spend plenty of time in my art studio.  Therefore, I was able to work on most of the art projects I've had lined-up.  Not everything is finished, or even perfect, but I thoroughly enjoyed the journey.  Isn't that what life should be all about, enjoying the journey?  That reminds me of my wife's comment when she was admiring my Smash layout pages, "Your photographs and layouts make it seem like we had such an exciting summer."  I just smiled.

My Summer has just started really - first full week of the school holidays :) I have lots planned - but not TOO much as it needs to be achieved. I need to decorate the living room and clear a space in the garden for a green house. Craft wise - I stupidly ( not on purpose) bought 300 tags - So I need to be crative with some of them!! Love all your art work especially your Smash book pages. I hope you get more tiome to play. Have a good week . Soojay 27

It's remarkable how often you talk about aspects I'm considering too exactly at the same time you do it. I was also thinking about the life journey within the last days because I suddenly realized that as soon as we achieve a goal we can't stay there for ever. We have to go on to achieve the next one and another one and so on and so on and when I realized this, I wasn't very happy in the first moment but I thought I have to face reality and that's it. And then you wrote this wonderful sentence: "Isn't that what life should be all about, enjoying the journey?" and this was exactly the answer I was looking for. Many thanks! (I hope my English was sufficient to describe my thoughts). I love the colorful birthday cards you created and the horses are wonderful! And you look really very happy on the photographs :) It's great how you have arranged them and your wife's comment is wonderful!

I'm glad that you had lots of time for art, that is such precious time, and am always fascinated by how many varied challenges you make art for and how well they fit the themes.
My special favourites here are the first, a lovely painting, and an unusual subject done so well, and of course, Rolo, who is posing beautifully.

You're doing such a marvelous job in completing all your projects. Everything looks good! So glad you joined us at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with an awesome inspiration from the Scripture in Hebrews 3:6 and it says, "But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast." Have an awesome week.

Wow! You are so amazingly talented! I love everything! I have a question though... In your Josephine creation there is a beautiful and colorful stick/wand laying next to the card, looks to be made of glass, and I was wondering what it is? Whatever it is, it looks amazing! I absolutely love blown glass or glass art and so this caught my attention while viewing your pictures. Thanks so much!
